
Henriette Jæger from Aremark IF set a Norwegian indoor record and year’s best in the world when she ran 22.99 in 200 meters during the Bassen Sprint in Bærum.
The 20-year-old thus improved the Norwegian indoor record by four tenths. She is the first Norwegian woman to run under 23.00 seconds in 200 meters in approved conditions.
The Østfold woman is currently the world’s fastest woman at 200 meters indoors. Her old pers. indoors was 23.55.
